My Fitness Tech
This page shows off the fitness tech that I use regularly and what that tech is meant to do. It is still very much a work in progress and will continue to be updated as my tech is!

I just got this phone, more details to come on it in the future. My initial thoughts are THIS IS SO DAMN COOL!!!!! I haven't had a "flip phone" since 2006, kind of 2008 when I tried out an LG that flipped open sideways to reveal the inner screen before going with the Blackberry Curve. That was to replace my UTStarcom PPC-6700 smartphone I had been using since replacing my camera phone in 2006, that had a slide out keyboard and ran Windows Mobile... what a world back then.
This is my "go to" for cycling, whether I'm sliding through the air with Ruby or electrifying the roads with Geena. My Edge 830 offers clear, crisp data screens with an excellent battery life. I had/have the Edge 820, as well, that had served me well for 5 years, and continues to in certain situations (sometimes attached to Geena for commuting). The 830 offers a larger and more responsive screen than the 820, while holding it's own again my use of the FR965 to track multisport events (shared view? Where the Edge shows data from the Forerunner). All together, it makes a great cycling computer and has just enough smarts to keep you as connected as you want to be (mostly texts & call alerts, can get emails and app alerts).
